Safety and Trust are key to this unique business and my choice to gamble on making  a living this way instead of a traditional school environment. Firstly the elephant in the room-  I am a male teacher! Shock horror! And by most accountants a rather large and imposing one at that.

When it comes to feeling that your children will be safe in my care, I feel that my 25 years experience as news photographer in volatile environments and 13 years as a parent in many countries has equipped me with above average ability to read a situation and find the least dramatic way to exit or descalate the situation. From instances such as having to perform CPR on an elderly man in total heart stoppage for 20+ minutes in front my children, I can say with modest confidence that I don't panic.  It's conceivable that my classroom could be set up in location where a person in "considerable mental or narcotic distress" or an angry stray dog enters the scene. These are the types of things I have dealt with before and am confident in being able to correctly and safely deal with on the remote off chance that they should arise in the future.

Below you will find links to the pages that address the complex facets of creating a safe and secure experience for everyone at MMC.
