Let's talk turkey, Mobile Mini Class is based on the notion of large, bald, slightly scary looking man working in a confined space with your children. As a parent I would want to know as much as possible about that guy!

I moved to the US in 2023 with my American wife of 16 years. The green-card process took over 2 years, largely because of the cost and headaches of getting police background checks from the Beijing and Shanghai governments. I also had to provide police background checks for my time growing up in the UK, my teen college years in Seattle, my years working in London, as well as Hong Kong and Japan. Those reports were all sent sealed to US Immigration. I am working on getting copies if possible, as I would like to offer the fullest possible suite of background checks. I am very happy to provide any and all information and assistance that I can toward any type of background check an interested parent or group could require.  If I find a service that allows the sharing of an existing background check, I will to provide a link to it, to avoid repeated costs. As you can see from a screenshot below of green card requirements, apart from convictions in also covers arrests and charges.

However as a parent I would still be thinking this isn't a complete picture. The above background information wouldn't tell me as parent if this random guy with his box van had ever been "let go" or investigated by a school for example. A couple of international schools in Shanghai were discovered to be employing expat teachers who had convictions or at least disqualifying records back in their home lands. All of my teaching in Shanghai and Hong Kong occurred later when they had improved checks. Received various certificates such as the one below over the years. This one covers the my time in UK until  I left for Hong Kong aged 30, for example. I will add an updated version, now that my LLC can be the requesting organisation. Parents are always welcome to sit in, observe or take part on any lesson. The van also has a revolving "captains chair " for parents to comfortably observe lessons while they take care of emails etc.
